Territory Account Associate - Minneapolis, MN
About the Role
The Territory Account Associate is a growth role for high achievers responsible for providing solutions to customers by utilizing Amplity resources. This role involves collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to address customer inquiries and becoming proficient in Clinical Selling, Account Selling, Access Navigation, Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, and Omni-Channel Engagement.
Responsibilities
- Participate in clinical dialogue that leads customers to act on behalf of their patients and engage accounts to understand obstacles, providing appropriate solutions to meet customer needs.
- Identify shared priorities and develop a territory business plan to drive product demand by addressing the needs of key partners and their patients.
- Collaborate with territory colleagues, field-based, and corporate teams to proactively address customer needs and provide support.
- Grow knowledge of the marketplace, competitors, industry trends, and cross-functional activities to anticipate and manage business opportunities and challenges.
- Review territory market data and trends to gain insights into the local business environment, drive pull-through, and lead virtual or live engagements with customers.
- Participate in planning meetings with key partners to solve customer problems and work collaboratively across functions to meet customer needs with urgency.
- Leverage systems and omni-channel/multi-channel options to engage with customers compliantly in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Business-to-Business experience required; life science sales experience a plus.
- Self-starter with a strong motivation to overachieve.
- Effective communication skills.
- Track record of outside sales experience.
- Demonstrated business acumen with a thoughtful approach to gathering, prioritizing, and applying information to support problem-solving and customer needs.
- Strong ability to rapidly learn, effectively apply, and clearly communicate product knowledge and disease-state information.
- Compliance-focused, fully adhering to company policies and laws.
- Must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance (no further than 50 miles from the territory border).
- Ability to travel 60-80% over a broad geography, with the ability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
- Must successfully complete all required training.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Adept with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting software.
Credentialing Requirements
As a representative of a pharmaceutical company, you may be required to submit and maintain credentials, such as training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers. Compliance with facility-specific requirements on your call plans is expected. Additionally, certain geographic jurisdictions or hospital systems may require a representative license. Currently, representatives working in the District of Columbia, City of Chicago, State of Nevada, State of Oregon, or those associated with Jackson Memorial Health in Miami-Dade County, Florida, may need specific licenses. This list may change, and you will be notified of any significant updates.

Pay
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $85K - $87K. The salary range displayed may vary based on market data, an applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, certain degrees, certifications, and other relevant factors.
