Termite & Moisture Control Technician
About the role
This is a highly active, field-based role where you will work in diverse environments. You will be the ultimate defender of our customers' homes, protecting them from destructive termite damage and implementing crucial moisture control solutions.
Responsibilities
- Termite Treatments: Safely applying liquid treatments, installing baiting systems, and performing trenching around the foundations of residential and commercial properties to eliminate and prevent termite colonies.
- Crawlspace & Attic Solutions: Installing vapor barriers, encapsulation systems, dehumidifiers, and specialized insulation in crawlspaces and attics. You will provide services to control moisture and prevent wood decay, fungi, and pest habitats.
- Thorough Inspections: Navigating tight spaces, including under homes and in attics, to assess structural wood, identify signs of pest activity, and evaluate moisture levels.
- Tools & Equipment Operation: Utilizing hand tools, power tools, and other equipment needed for trenching, drilling, and installing moisture barriers.
- Customer Communication: Explaining the treatment and installation process to homeowners, answering their questions, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- A high school diploma (or equivalent)
- A valid driver’s license
- A clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check, physical, and drug screen
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you bring: Character: High moral standards and a desire to help people.Physical Toughness: Comfortable working in tight, confined spaces, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and working in varying weather conditions and temperatures.Hands-On Mentality: Experience in construction, landscaping, HVAC, pest control, or general manual labor is a huge plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are most important.Independence & Reliability: The ability to manage your daily route and complete complex installations autonomously with a high standard of quality.
