Terminal Operator

About the role
Under the direction of the Regional Logistics Manager, the incumbent will oversee terminal inventory, complete daily and month-end inventory reports, unload propane rail cars, oversee loading of trucks, and perform maintenance and repairs while operating a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Take daily temperature, pressure, and liquid level readings of the storage tanks and record them
- Complete a daily inventory report using Microsoft Excel
- Complete a month-end inventory report using Microsoft Excel
- Spot and unload propane rail cars, and load rail cars if applicable
- Oversee the loading of LPG trucks and unload LPG trucks
- Complete rail car and truck paperwork
- Perform facility and equipment maintenance and repairs
- Assist in achieving the terminal operations expense goals
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Logistics Manager
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Computer experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Previous propane rail car and truck experience preferred
Pay
The pay for this position ranges from $22.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on circumstances including skills, qualifications, degrees, certifications, and prior job experience. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions.
