About the Role

Texas A&M University School of Law is seeking up to six tenured or tenure-track faculty members for the 2026-2027 academic year. We welcome outstanding scholars from any research methodology and subject area who are eager to contribute to scholarship, teaching, and institutional service at one of the nation’s largest public universities. Positions will be at the Associate or Full Professor level, with appointments beginning in fall 2027 on a full-time, 9-month service period.

Since integrating with Texas A&M in 2013, the law school (located in Dallas/Fort Worth) has achieved significant growth in faculty size and scholarly impact, improvements in the academic profile of incoming students, and advances in national rank and reputation. With increased university support, the law school will expand its faculty, enhance student caliber, and construct a new downtown campus with the law school as its academic anchor.
