Tenure-Track Position - Epidemiology

Tenure‑Track Investigator position focused on developing an independent research program studying the impact of environmental exposures on chronic diseases of aging.

Responsibilities

• Lead innovative research integrating epidemiologic, genomic, and molecular data.
• Assess environmental exposures using questionnaires, geospatial data, wearable monitoring, and biomarkers.
• Explore disease pathogenesis and prevention in neurodegenerative, cardiovascular, metabolic, and autoimmune diseases.
• Collaborate across disciplines and support postdoctoral and staff research efforts.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent with at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience.
• Outstanding publication record and a strong research portfolio.
• Eligibility for U.S. or equivalent visas.

Skills & Key Duties

• Expertise in exposure assessment methods and omics‑based research.
• Proficiency in advanced epidemiologic and statistical techniques, including causal inference and mixture evaluation.
• Linking environmental data to electronic health records or Medicare data (preferred).
• Engage in high‑impact, independent research without teaching or extensive administrative duties.
• Collaborate with intramural clinical and basic science teams for translational research.
