Tenure‑Track Investigator position focused on developing an independent research program studying the impact of environmental exposures on chronic diseases of aging.
Responsibilities
- Lead innovative research integrating epidemiologic, genomic, and molecular data.
- Assess environmental exposures using questionnaires, geospatial data, wearable monitoring, and biomarkers.
- Explore disease pathogenesis and prevention in neurodegenerative, cardiovascular, metabolic, and autoimmune diseases.
- Collaborate across disciplines and support postdoctoral and staff research efforts.
Qualifications
- Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent with at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience.
- Outstanding publication record and a strong research portfolio.
- Eligibility for U.S. or equivalent visas.
Skills & Key Duties
- Expertise in exposure assessment methods and omics‑based research.
- Proficiency in advanced epidemiologic and statistical techniques, including causal inference and mixture evaluation.
- Linking environmental data to electronic health records or Medicare data (preferred).
- Engage in high‑impact, independent research without teaching or extensive administrative duties.
- Collaborate with intramural clinical and basic science teams for translational research.
