Tenure-track Faculty Position in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
Tenure-track assistant professor position in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. Exceptional candidates may be considered for Associate Professor or Professor rank. The role begins in July 2027.
About the role
The successful candidate will develop and lead an innovative research program addressing forefront challenges in biomolecular, biochemical, biotechnology, or bioprocess engineering. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, synthetic biology, biosensing, systems biology, metabolic engineering, and microbial engineering. The position involves research, teaching, and service.

Qualifications
- Candidates at the entry level must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. degree or have completed all but dissertation in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field, with degree expected before July 1, 2027.
- Candidates at the advanced level must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
