Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Business Analytics and General Management

About the role

The Lubin School of Business at Pace University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Business Analytics and General Management. The start date for this position is September 1, 2027. The successful candidate will teach courses in the Department of Management and Management Science, conduct research leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals, and perform service supporting students and various levels of the University.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Department of Management and Management Science
• Conduct research leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals
• Support students and various levels of the University
• Be willing to teach on the Pleasantville campus or online as needed
• Demonstrate prior experience developing and teaching courses and leading research projects to publication
• Show a student-centric mindset and an established record of teaching with strong evaluations
• Be service-oriented—a willing and able team player who genuinely cares for the needs of her/his Department, School, and University

Requirements

• Earned (or completed all requirements for) a Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Management Science, or a closely related field by August 31, 2027
• Experience teaching Business Analytics and General Management courses
• Strong research productivity
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Strong relationship-building and organizational skills
• Flexibility in teaching courses outside their research areas, as needed by the department

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Management Science, or a closely related field by August 31, 2027
• Experience teaching Business Analytics and General Management courses
• Strong research productivity

Pay

$125,000.00 - $135,000.00 / Year
