Tennis Shop & Court Maintenance | Country Club at Wakefield Plantation

About the Role

This hands-on, member-facing position assists in the daily operations of the tennis shop and facility maintenance at The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation, a McConnell Golf property.

Responsibilities

Tennis Shop

• Opening and closing the shop
• Answering phones, sending and replying to emails
• Booking courts
• Helping to create marketing pieces for program offerings and upcoming events
• Assisting with monthly inventory
• Keeping the shop presentable for members at all times
• Assisting in merchandise orders, deliveries, and returns
• Stocking the beverage cooler
• Daily billing for lessons, clinics, camps, etc.

Maintenance

• Daily clay court grooming (sweeping, rolling & lining)
• Daily blowing of leaves and debris from all courts, pathways, and common areas
• Daily trash removal from courts and surrounding areas
• Daily replenishing of the water coolers and cups
• Repair and hang windscreens as needed
• Wipe down and clean benches as needed
• Resetting all furniture in common areas as needed
• Watering clay courts as needed
• Drying courts as needed
• Helping with annual resurfacing as needed

Other

• Provides quality service to all members and guests
• Attends staff meetings as appropriate
• Attends company training/seminar events as appropriate
• Performs other tasks as assigned
