Tennis Shop Attendant

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence: Greet members and guests warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Aid customers with selecting tennis equipment, apparel, and accessories based on their needs.
• Handle inquiries about tennis programs, lessons, and events with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing pro shop, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring inventory is current.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking and conducting periodic counts.
• Cook up and promote tennis programs, clinics, and events, ensuring members and guests are informed and engaged.
• Provide administrative support to the Tennis Director, including scheduling lessons and managing court bookings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or a customer service role, preferably in a tennis or sports environment.
• Knowledge of tennis equipment, apparel, and general terminology is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Proficient in using retail point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
