Tendering Manager II
Job Summary
Tendering Manager II is responsible for the planning and performance of all outages across the US, ensuring excellence across several key metrics, including health & safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost & productivity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Partnering closely with Operations and Field Services, plans the outages using detailed project management methodology and lean process improvement to optimize outage performance
Closely with Commercial & Sales to provide tailored outage plans for potential contracts, and with Finance to forecast outage costs and productivity opportunities to contribute to the Power Services operating plan
Lead the planning of competitive transactional outages across the region to provide a market leading offering to existing and potential customers
Accountable for delivering continuous improvement in the areas of customer satisfaction, cost and downtime
Prepare outage offer, ensuring competitiveness in relation to scope, resourcing, timing and cost
Deliver tangible improvements within the transactional Steam Turbine and Generator portfolio in the following key performance indicators: EHS, Quality, On-time delivery, Cost, Productivity
Partner with Outage Planning team to ensure feedback loop to drive continuous improvement and provide inputs to key planning and review processes
Partner with sourcing, sub region team, and Affiliate to drive outage cost elements reduction
Manage and develop employees
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree with three years’ field experience in a Project Controls capacity
Project management qualification preferred
Eight to ten years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
Three years of specialized/industry experience
English proficiency required

Compensation And Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $89,800 to $150,800. This is an exempt from overtime position.
