Tenant Recoveries Analyst
About the role
The Lease Accounting team at SITE Centers is seeking a Tenant Recoveries Analyst in Beachwood, OH to reconcile year-end common area maintenance (CAM), insurance, real estate taxes and related accounts, and prepare tenant billings.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile year-end common area maintenance (CAM), insurance, real estate taxes and related accounts, and prepare tenant billings.
- Act as a real estate math wizard solving CAM puzzles, differing based on the time of year.
- Prepare and complete year-end reconciliations, review and maintain tenant and property setups, calculate monthly accruals of anticipated revenue, perform financial analysis of actual and projected recoveries, prepare and complete the following year budgets, and update the system to reflect new escrow amounts.
- Play a critical role in ensuring tenant billings are accurate, which helps keep AR balances and tenant disputes low and enables quicker collection of tenant billings.
Requirements
- Prior experience reading and understanding landlord leases and tenant billings.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Working experience maintaining complex Excel schedules.

Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $53,000 - $65,000, with actual compensation based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, geographical and industry market data, and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.

Schedule
Hybrid schedule in the Beachwood, OH corporate office 3 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday required), and the option to work from home up to 2 days a week during the initial 90-day onboarding period.
