Temporary Travel Assignment Nurse

Job Summary

You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. You will assess patients, develop and evaluate care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete patient assessment.
• Recognizes significant changes in patient status and seeks appropriate resources.
• Captures and verifies physician orders for procedures, medications, and therapies.
• Absorbs patient and significant other's knowledge base, ability, and readiness to learn.
• Teaches patients, significant others, and staff based on their developmental age.
• Delegates tasks based on census, staffing, patient, and unit needs.
• Maintains current knowledge of clinical and operational policies.
• Engages in peer review and participates in the orientation of team members.
• Utilizes conflict resolution to promote a cohesive team.
• Ensures effective and wise use of resources, monitoring for cost containment.
• Facilitates appropriate length of hospital stay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification.
