About the role
The Zhu lab is seeking a temporary lab tech to assist in research procedures involving mouse genotyping and basic metabolic phenotyping, as well as cellular and molecular biology techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assist in mouse genotyping and metabolic phenotyping
- Perform and coordinate multiple lab tasks with fellow members
- Maintain lab supplies, equipment, and dispose of materials properly
Requirements
- Self-motivation, passion, and dedication for science
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written English skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 1-2 years of related experience
