Temporary Teacher — Upper Primary Teacher at Poonindie Community Learning Centre, located in Poonindie, just outside Port Lincoln on the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. Position details

Site: Poonindie Community Learning Centre. Local Partnership: Port Lincoln. Tenure: 22/01/2027 to 27/01/2028. Fraction of time: 1.0. Subject: Primary to Year 6. Conditions: $84,971 - $123,236 per annum FTE / Teacher Conditions. School Website: http://www.poonindieps.sa.edu.au. Part-time and flexible arrangements will be considered.

Requirements

• A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia: https://trb.sa.edu.au/Registering-to-Teach.
• Demonstrated ability to use formative assessment and responsive teaching practices to identify and respond to the learning needs of all students.
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate learning within the South Australian Curriculum to support a wide range of abilities in the classroom.
• Demonstrated ability to create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills with students, families and colleagues.

Eligibility

Eligible permanent metropolitan teachers can apply for this temporary vacancy if they are a permanent metropolitan teacher, are not in their first year of permanency, and are not currently undergoing performance management.

• Provide an example of how you have differentiated learning, monitored understanding and reflected on student learning with your students.
• Provide an example of when you have actively created positive working relationships that have resulted in you connecting with colleagues, sharing practices and learning from one another to support your learners to thrive.
• Provide an example of how you build strong relationships with students, establish high expectations and create a positive learning environment.
• Explain how you use school values, behaviour goals and wellbeing strategies to promote student engagement, participation and a sense of belonging, both within and beyond the classroom.
