Job Summary

The Nursing and Health Science Dean's Office is currently seeking a Temporary Support Specialist to join their team of professionals. Duties Include:

  • Conducts studies in the assigned laboratory.
  • Collections, analyzes, and processes laboratory samples/specimens.
  • Maintains lab compliance records.
  • Sets up equipment and materials for course instruction.
  • Assists in training staff members, students, and investigators on the handling of research subjects.
  • Sets up equipment and materials for course instruction.
  • Assists in administering medications and treatment to research subjects.
  • Operates and maintains laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Adheres to laboratory procedures and safety practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A high school diploma and two (2) years of appropriate experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
