Temporary Senior IT Risk & Compliance Analyst
About the role
The Angi Compliance Team ensures controls are consistently applied to meet compliance obligations including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), PCI, GDPR, etc., and risk mitigation strategies. This position involves designing, implementing, and supporting IT general controls (ITGC) framework, leading remediation efforts, and identifying emerging IT risks.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and maintenance of a rigorous ITGC compliance program
- Execute, design, and improve ITGCs across products and infrastructure, including user access reviews, change monitoring reviews, etc.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure practices and products are compliant with IT SOX, GDPR, PCI and other related compliance obligations
- Create and maintain necessary evidentiary documentation for internal and external auditors
- Work with internal teams to design and maintain automated systems for continuous compliance
- Identify risks and gaps in ITGC framework to facilitate remediation
- Coordinate IT SOX internal controls testing, including planning, coordinating, and facilitating audit walkthroughs
- Communicate audit results and progress via written reports and oral presentations to various stakeholders
- Collaborate with control owners to periodically certify controls and processes
- Create and maintain relevant documentation including narratives, control documentation, and process flowcharts
Requirements
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, with 4+ years of experience in audit, compliance, IT, information security, or related fields. Experience with cloud IT control principles, access management, change management, and IT operations is essential. Knowledge of AI tools, scripting languages, SQL queries, and Auditboard is a plus.
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills, exceptional verbal and written communication, and a collaborative approach with both technical and non-technical team members are required. This is a remote position requiring candidates to work 40 hours per week.
Skills
Experience with AI tools to support compliance workflows, documentation, or reporting, scripting languages like Ruby, Python, Unix shell, and writing SQL queries are beneficial. Experience with Auditboard is also advantageous.
Benefits
Remote work option, competitive compensation ranging between $1,600 - $2,000 per week, commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location.
