Senior Accountant | Interim Austin, TX | Onsite Our client is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support financial reporting, account analysis, budgeting, and month-end close activities during a transitional period. Responsibilities:Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.Manage asset-related accounting and reporting activities.Analyze operating expenses, budgets, and spending trends.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies.Support audit requests and financial reporting requirements.Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance reporting efficiency. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.4+ years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience.Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.Strong Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred:CPA designation.Experience supporting regulated industries.Background with internal controls, compliance, or audit support.Experience partnering with operational and technology teams on budgeting and financial analysis.
