Temporary Scientist II

Position OverviewWe are seeking a Scientist II to support drug discovery programs through cell-based assays, compound screening, and data analysis. This role will execute laboratory experiments, evaluate compound activity, and contribute to research efforts in a collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mammalian cell culture, cell viability, and screening assays.Execute ELISA and related cell-based assays to evaluate compound activity.Analyze and interpret experimental data and communicate results to project teams.Support assay development, troubleshooting, and laboratory operations.Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research objectives.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree with 4+ years or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant industry experience in Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.Experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays.Experience with cell viability assays, ELISA, or related techniques.Experience supporting drug discovery programs.Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Western blotting, PCR, or related molecular biology techniques.Experience with high-throughput screening workflows.Experience in oncology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or drug discovery environments. #MSPTalent Full-time employees are also eligible for benefits options such as health coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401k benefits.At Advanced Group, our commitment to diversity and inclusion in every part of our organization is crucial to fulfilling our mission and demonstrating our REAL values.
