Temporary Research Assistant

Overview

Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) is an academic health center at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. It includes eight schools, a behavioral health network, and five centers and institutes focusing on cancer treatment and research, neuroscience, advanced biotechnology and medicine, environmental and occupational health, and health care policy and aging research. Faculty members are experienced teachers, clinicians, and scientists who advance medical innovation and provide patient care based on the latest research.

Responsibilities

• Assist with protocol initiation and development, alongside PI and study team.
• Assist with eIRB initiation.
• Human subjects’ recruitment, management, monitoring.
• Data collection and data management (e.g., interviews, surveys, experiments).
• Support grant-related research activities.
• Aid in data cleaning, analysis, and interpretation.
• Aid in data collection in RedCap/Qualtrics.
• Aid in presentation and manuscripts preparation.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
• Experience with social network analysis, text analysis, and other computational analysis is a plus.
