Essential Job Duties
- Organizing, cleaning, and managing datasets from long-term research data from the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS)
- Writing Python and/or R scripts for data processing, statistical analyses, and reproducible workflows
- Analyzing treatment effects of long-term regenerative farming practices on soil, crop, and environmental outcomes
- Creating figures, tables, and data visualizations to summarize results for project reports, presentations, and publications
- Assisting with interpreting results and contributing to project deliverables
- Attending project meetings, sharing progress updates, collaborating with faculty, staff, students, and other research team members
- Maintaining organized records of code, datasets, outputs, and analysis decisions
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education: Relevant Master's degree or Relevant Bachelor's and 3 or more years of relevant experience, or relevant independent experience and education
Department Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python or R for scientific computing and data analysis
- Experience with version control, data visualization, and statistical modeling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team
Preferred Skills, Training, Education:
- Experience with hypothesis testing and big data analytics
- Fluency with ML/AI tools
