TEMPORARY POSITION: Technical Designer, Men's Young Customer - (Hybrid, Seattle)

About the role

This position is a temporary assignment at Nordstrom from 10/26/2026 to 12/04/2026, subject to change based on business needs. The position will end at the conclusion of the assignment.

Work location: Nordstrom's downtown Seattle headquarters, hybrid model with four days in the office and one remote workday per week.

Project Scope: This temporary Technical Designer will help cover all technical design responsibilities for the Men’s Young Customer (Nordstrom Made brands).

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with design partners on tech pack handoffs
• Spec'ing samples and prepping for fittings
• Conducting fittings and taking fit notes
• Sending fit comments to vendors and answering vendor emails
• Reviewing PP and TOP samples

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in Technical Design or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Apparel Design, Apparel Manufacturing, Pattern Making or related field or equivalent industry experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Clear, effective written and verbal communication
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Pay

$80,000.00 - $132,000.00 Annual
