Temporary Physical Therapist – Kidsteps Birth to Three

About the role

This is a temporary 3–5 month Physical Therapist opportunity within Kidsteps, Lumibility’s Birth to Three program. The role offers hands-on experience in providing physical therapy services to infants and toddlers in home and community settings, partnering with families using a coaching and strengths-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) in home and community settings
• Partner with families using a coaching and strengths-based approach
• Collaborate with service coordinators and other early intervention providers
• Complete documentation using electronic systems (training provided)
• Learn the full scope of Birth to Three service delivery with real-world experience

Requirements

• Connecticut Licensed Physical Therapist
• Interest in family-centered, developmentally based care
• Comfort working independently in community settings (support provided!)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Experience in physical therapy
• Knowledge of early intervention services
• Ability to work independently in community settings
