Temporary Packager (Day shift)

This position’s main functions will be to assist the Packaging Department with packing and unpacking garments. The role requires maintaining a productive work pace and completing projects accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Remove garments from boxes
• Place stickers or hangtags on garments
• Place garments in boxes
• Communicate openly with Group Lead and Packaging Manager
• Perform order entry into Oracle
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer skills
• Complies with UT’s attendance policy; reliable, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position

Physical Demands

• Able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required, including ability to identify color
• Able to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch

Work Environment

• Works near mechanical parts
• Noise level in working area is moderate

Schedule

Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM & Friday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
