Boulder County Office of the County Administrator is seeking to hire two Temporary Office Assistants to support the Board of Equalization. This term-limited, non-benefited position will work 20-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at 1325 Pearl St., Boulder, Colorado. The anticipated end date is no later than November 3. Parking is the responsibility of the employee.
Responsibilities
- Assist the public over the phone and email, providing information and referring individuals to appropriate staff
- Use computer software for data input and processing reports
- Maintain electronic files
- Proof and index documents
- Operate various office equipment
- Complete and process reports and forms
- Check and verify information against electronic records
- Open, sort, and scan mail appeals into software
- Facilitate and monitor property valuation hearings via MS Teams as a virtual greeter
- Perform related work as required
- May be reassigned during emergency situations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of general administrative or clerical experience
- Residency in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Teams or virtual meeting room software

Pay
$25.00 hourly
Schedule
