Temporary Night Custodian

About the role

Cleaning of all athletic facilities, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning brass, cleaning windows, floor maintenance, carpet maintenance, and cleaning courts. Maintenance of custodial supply inventory. Venue preparation for events. This position is temporary and will not exceed 1,040 hours per year.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust athletic facilities
• Clean brass, windows, floors, carpets, and courts
• Maintain custodial supply inventory
• Prepare venues for events

Requirements

• 0–6 months of general custodial experience
• Knowledge of custodial equipment and supplies
• Ability to read and understand SDS sheets and department directives
• Must maintain a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Physical ability to ascend/descend a ladder, kneel, crawl into high, low, or tight spaces to clean hard-to-reach areas

Skills

• Ability to handle multiple work priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a highly self-motivated manner
• Adaptable to ever-changing technological needs, procedures, environment, and responsibilities

Qualifications

• No degree required
• High School diploma or GED preferred

Schedule

Night shift: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Friday with some weekends needed for game days. Temporary part-time hours.

Pay

$13 per hour.
