About the role

Temporary Mock Juror position with the School of Law, UTemp Pool. Open to all applicants. Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS. Earliest start date: Immediately. Position duration: Expected to continue until November 6, 2026 (specific assignment: Wednesday, November 4 – one day). Weekly scheduled hours: 4. FLSA status: Non-Exempt.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mock juror for in-class focus groups.
• Listen to a specific side of the case presented by students.
• Offer feedback on how they would rule and provide additional thoughts/impressions.

Qualifications

Required: High school graduate or GED; responsible, punctual, cooperative, and willing to give productive feedback.

Pay

Hourly rate: $23.00

Schedule

Weekly scheduled hours: 4. Work hours: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (assignment date: Wednesday, November 4 – one day).
