Temporary Merchandise Associate

About the role

Responsible for delivering a high-quality customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting operational standards. May be cross-trained in multiple store areas to assist with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Model excellent customer service practices with internal and external customers
• Support a positive store culture based on honesty, integrity, and respect
• Handle transactions accurately, promote credit and loyalty programs
• Follow merchandising standards and prepare merchandise for sale
• Participate in store recovery, cleanliness, and safety initiatives
• Assist with loss prevention and store recovery efforts
• Support organizational and safety standards and perform other assigned duties

• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation
• Effective teamwork and responsiveness to feedback
• Retail experience preferred
