Temporary Laundry Attendant

About the Role

The University of Notre Dame is a vibrant, mission-driven community where every employee is valued and supported. Here, you will process incoming soiled and outgoing clean laundry in accordance with set laundry quality and quantity standards. You will be cross-trained in a variety of work areas, including soil sorting, drying, finishing, and assembling, and will work with both automated and manual industrial laundry equipment while following all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming soiled and outgoing clean laundry according to established standards.
• Operate industrial laundry equipment, both automated and manual.
• Perform tasks in soil sorting, drying, finishing, and assembling.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
• Calculate pieces or pounds processed.

Requirements

• Diligent work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.

Pay

$17.50 per hour.

Schedule

Flexible hours between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., approximately 20 hours per week. Seasonal help through the football season.
