About the role
The position is open to undergraduate students who are interested in learning about pecan irrigation and peanut data collection through field research. The successful candidate will assist with programming data loggers, installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation, and checking data remotely for quality assurance.
Requirements
- High school or undergraduate degree preferred.
- Experience in field work and data collection.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Driving ability.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of field work and data collection techniques.
- Physical stamina for lifting and driving.
Skills
- Programming data loggers.
- Instrumentation installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
