Responsibilities

• Facility Supervisors: Oversee the daily operations of the ice center, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Customer Service Attendants: Provide excellent customer service, assist with rentals, and manage front desk activities.
• Learn to Skate Instructors: Teach skating lessons to participants of all ages and skill levels.
• Custodians: Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility, including restrooms and common areas.
• Seasonal Customer Service Attendants: Assist with general customer service tasks during peak seasons.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar position preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Some positions require first aid certification.

Qualifications

• Must pass a required pre-employment background check.
• Temporary positions with an average of 29 hours or less per week or 129 hours or less per month.
• Not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy.
• Not considered merit employees.
• "At will" employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing.
