Temporary Haul Truck Driver

Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Demonstrates solid commitment to safe work practices and organizational initiatives regarding safety.
• Maintains awareness of all MSHA regulations.
• Self-directed in the operations of the quarry.
• Performs small repairs on the equipment (e.g., light bulbs, correct fluid levels, tire pressure, grease, etc.) as needed.
• Helps the crusher operator with repairs at the crusher and clean-up tasks at the crusher.
• Passes ATF background check.
• Operates all haul trucks: Cat 773, 775, and 773 water trucks.
• Works as a team member with other employees to meet daily production targets.
• Writes and enters work orders in ODE.
• Maintains equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns in JDE.
• Trains other employees as needed.
• Meets or exceeds Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets each shift, safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Capable of lifting 75 lbs.
• Frequent standing, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, stairs, and sit.
• Sense of teamwork and cooperation.
• Positive attitude.
• Problem-solving skills applicable to quarry activities.
• Proficient in writing work orders and entering information in ODE.
• MSHA training required.
