About the Role

The successful candidate will teach courses in the Nursing program at Pasadena City College.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Nursing program
• Develop and maintain course curriculum
• Assess student learning outcomes
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing education trends and best practices
• Participate in departmental meetings and committees
• Contribute to the college’s mission and strategic goals

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Current California teaching credential
• Experience teaching in higher education
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Pass a background check including Live Scan and TB assessment/screening
• Eligible to work in the United States

Skills

• Excellent teaching and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
• Knowledge of adult learning principles
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom
