About the role
We are urgently seeking a dedicated Nurse Educator to help address the critical nursing shortage in our communities. The ideal candidate will bring their nursing knowledge and clinical expertise to inspire, mentor, and prepare future nurses for success.

8 am to 5 pm (No on-call, No weekends)

What You’ll Do
- Teach Didactic: Bring theory to life by leading engaging classroom discussions on med-surg, fundamentals, pharmacology, and more. Share your real-world stories and clinical wisdom.
- Lead Clinicals: Guide a small group of students through the hospital floor. Provide guidance, correct mistakes, and praise progress. Be the calm, competent voice that shapes their future careers.
- Shape Culture: Instill not just clinical skills, but compassion, critical thinking, and professionalism. Prepare students to become the kind of nurses you'd want caring for your family.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree, preferably in a Master’s in another field, acceptable if a baccalaureate degree is in nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program recognized by the S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Three (3) years of occupational experience as a Nurse providing direct patient care.
- One (1) year of full-time teaching experience or administering a nursing education program leading to licensure.
- Current Arizona Nursing license (or multi-state privilege to practice in Arizona) in good standing, and any other certification or credential as required by local, state, or federal laws to work in the field.
- Verbal and written communications.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and computers.
