Responsible for delivering AHA Courses including CPR, First-Aid, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Life Support.

Essential Job Functions
- Conducts American Heart Association Courses including CPR, First-Aid, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Life Support in classroom setting for both individuals and groups.
- Trains participants on effective responses to emergency scenarios and delivering essential life support.
- Executes correct procedures for administering life support procedures/techniques according to AHA standards.
- Implements diverse teaching strategies to captivate participants and optimize learning outcomes.
- Provides constructive feedback and assessments to monitor participant advancement and ensure understanding.
- Maintains a secure and structured classroom setting for optimal learning experiences.
Job Requirements
- The type of shift varies based on the requirements of teaching assignments. Weekend/evening teaching may be required. May require travel to off-site locations to accommodate customer/client training needs.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with diverse students.
- Proficiency in the use of audio-visual equipment.
- Establishment of a supportive and conducive learning environment.
- Exemplification of professional conduct as a role model.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Certifications/Licenses
- Current AHA Instructor certification.
- Current AHA Provider certification.
Required Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience
Demonstrated recent expertise and familiarity with life support modalities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Classroom teaching experience delivering life support courses.
