Temporary Employee Health RN, Flu Vaccine Campaign 1pm to 9pm

About the Role

Stamford Health is looking for a fulltime TEMPORARY Employee Health Flu Vaccine RN to join the Employee Health Department team. This position is a TEMPORARY Monday through Friday 37.5-hour position with 2 available shifts.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 1pm to 9pm

Responsibilities

• Provides and administers influenza vaccination to all organizational workforce members (i.e. employees, volunteers, medical staff, contractors and others) during the employee flu campaign.
• Interacts clinically with all levels and categories of personnel.
• Represents and is part of Employee Health and is knowledgeable in all aspects of influenza prevention/immunization in the delivery of this patient care.
• Follows the CDC, JCAHO and DPH guidelines for influenza vaccination of healthcare workers which helps prevent the spread of influenza to our patients, visitors, co-workers and others who work on or visit our premises.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Active driver's license required.
• Minimum of one-year nursing experience required.
• Employee may need to travel within 20-mile radius to off-site locations.
