Temporary Employee - Group Fitness Instructor

Targeted pay range of $12.00 - $25.00/hr, based on experience. Benefits are not eligible for this position.

About the Role

Using a variety of teaching and motivational techniques, this position creates a positive exercise experience. The role involves planning and leading effective, exercise science-based group sessions for different fitness levels. Instructors motivate and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals while applying knowledge of the human body and exercise science.

Training will begin immediately upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach and lead group exercise classes using intentionally designed, science-based methods.
• Motivate and challenge participants of varying fitness levels to achieve their goals.
• Apply knowledge of exercise science and human anatomy to design safe and effective workouts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to train all ages and special populations.
• Ability to obtain a certification accredited through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) within 6 months or obtain certification in an approved LesMills format (e.g., BodyPump, Ceremony, Hyrox) within 6 months.
• Hiring is contingent upon passing a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current certification through an NCCA-accredited organization such as NETA, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or NSCA.
• LesMills certification, particularly in BodyPump or Ceremony.
