Temporary Driver - Albany

About the role

This is a temporary position located at 5727 Newton Road Albany, GA 31707, paying $11/hour. The role cannot exceed 90 days of service. The Temporary Driver is responsible for moving and positioning vehicles to various designated locations between our properties for servicing, transport, and/or rental, ensuring vehicles are ready for customers in accordance with our high-quality standards.

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, navigating written directions.
• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road.
• Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destinations in a safe and courteous manner.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
• Clean vehicles when required.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.
• Candidates with more than one excessive speeding violation (26+ mph over the posted speed limit) in the past three years will be disqualified.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past five years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from the location.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be available for temporary work lasting a maximum of 90 days.
