Responsibilities
- Transport students and faculty as scheduled.
- Drop off vehicles for regularly scheduled maintenance.
- Refuel and ensure cleanliness of vehicles at end of shift.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This is an on-campus position, non-benefits eligible position, working up to 20 hours per week for approximately eight (8) months.
- Most driving remains within the state of Connecticut.
- Shifts Include Nights (630pm-1030pm or 1030-230a) Weekends and some holidays are required.
- Occasional daytime shifts for field trips and special events.
- Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training. Must have a valid CT driver’s license (minimum 3 years) and clean driving record. Must be flexible to accommodate fluctuating schedules of student groups. At least 3 years of driving experience. Experience operating 12 passenger vans and 14 passenger mini coaches.
- Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of driving experience. Experience transporting students. Passenger endorsement.
