About the role
This temporary position supports the IEEE Customer Licensing Administrators by maintaining and completing license agreements, sending follow-ups, and updating IEEE's CRM system with finalized records.
The role reports to a Manager, manages no direct reports, and operates with minimal supervision. After an initial training period, the employee may be eligible to work in a hybrid office/remote structure.
Responsibilities
- Send appropriate license agreement templates for the user licensing of all IEEE online package products.
- Assist Customer Licensing Admins with creating contract records in the CRM system.
- Send follow-up emails regarding the status of license agreements.
- Prepare and send simple amendments/documents with minimal customization.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed by the Customer Licensing team.
- Interact daily with customers and sales representatives via phone, email, and other electronic means.
- Document processes, write routine correspondence and emails, and author minor license agreement terms.
- Read and interpret license agreement language to understand customer requirements.
- Comprehend customer queries and staff emails to determine the proper course of action.
- Work with various departments within and outside IEEE to gather information, coordinate events, and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration or a related business field.
- 2 years of related experience.
- Prior training in Sales Force Automation (SFA) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software; experience with Salesforce.com is highly desirable.
- Relevant experience in administrative tasks, document processing, and document generation.

- Strong quality assurance skills, including doing work right the first time and implementing continuous improvement activities.

- Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Sales Force Automation (SFA) or CRM software; proficiency in email systems.
- Strong communication skills for daily interaction with customers, sales representatives, and staff of all levels, including non-US business partners.
- Excellent command of grammar and syntax for clear, business-oriented writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
- Ability to work effectively both in the office and remotely.
Pay
Starting pay: $35.00 per hour.
