Temporary - Clinical Research Assistant

This position is grant-funded and temporary, with part-time hours up to 20 per week.

About the role

The Clinical Research Assistant will support clinical research activities in the Multiple Sclerosis Division, working closely with clinic staff, providers, and investigators to ensure accurate, high-quality research data and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient recruitment, screening, consent, and scheduling of study visits.
• Collect, enter, and verify study data in accordance with protocols.
• Support specialty clinics by coordinating with staff and providers.
• Assist with patient communication, including follow-ups and addressing medication or study-related questions.
• Prepare study documents, lab shipments, and promotional materials.
• Monitor study compliance and support site visits/meetings.
• Manage inventory of research and clinic supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligibility to meet all employment requirements in the U.S. under Senate Bill 1310 (Florida), which allows substitution of work experience for postsecondary education requirements as follows:
  • Two years of direct experience for an associate degree.
  • Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree.
  • Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree.
  • Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
