About the role

In the role of Temporary Brewery Worker in Elkton, VA, you will be part of the Integrated Supply Chain Team. You will be responsible for operating forklifts or packaging equipment in a dynamic environment focused on shipping large volumes of packaged product.

Schedule

The brewery runs a 2X2X3 schedule (Two days on, two days off, three days on…and will rotate). Shifts are 12 hours that rotate between days and nights every 4 weeks. Hours are 7am – 7pm for days, and 7pm – 7am for nights.

Responsibilities

• Operate, understand, and rotate through all pieces of packaging equipment
• Responsible for the sanitation of all equipment on the assigned line
• Perform line checks, assist with accident investigations, hazard analysis, audits, and attend meetings as required
• Drive forklifts as trained to do so
• Read and interpret packaging schedule, job procedures, and work instructions
• Responsible for autonomous maintenance of valves, motors, pumps, filter and gear boxes including lubricating all machinery, making necessary operational adjustments, and ensuring equipment is running efficiently producing a quality product

Requirements

• Flexibility to work rotating and/or off-shifts
• Previous experience driving a forklift or willingness to be trained to operate a forklift
• Familiar with operating a computer
• Comfortable with the physical requirements of this position (standing, lifting, walking)

Pay

Starting Pay Rate: $20/hr
