Temporary Assembler I

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intricate electronic/electro-mechanical assembly functions on prototype and production type hardware according to company workmanship standards and military or client specifications.
• Affords assistance in the development and wiring of engineering models and in the development of assembly methods and wire lists.
• Utilizes hand or power tools to trim, shim, cut, and make other adjustments to fit components together and align them properly.
• Might provide assistance in instructing and training lower level assemblers.
• Reads and interprets wiring lists and assembly drawings and works to work orders using visual aids, ECN's, and schematics.
• May perform any rework from test failures in accordance with standard repair procedures and might set up and operate automatic prepping, loading, and insertion equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 0-1 years of production and/or assembly experience
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
