About the role

This is a minimum of a 1 year Data Center Build out. We are looking for individuals that can work inside and outside building out the data centers. We are looking for hard working individuals.

Responsibilities

Hours: Monday- Friday 6:45am-3:45pm (but might change to 10 hour shifts)

  • Pull cable
  • Assist Tech 2
  • Run and handle materials
  • Utilize hand/power tools
  • Climb ladders
  • Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches receptacles and other devices
  • Build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware)
  • Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required
  • Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels)
  • Pulls wire and/or oversees and directs conduit installations and wire pulling
  • Operates tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (examples: cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)

Requirements

  • Able to lift 40lbs
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must possess and be proficient with the listed tools
  • Willing to travel to another site in Ohio or Iowa for 3-6 weeks for training

First, we will hire techs from the Temple area (40 mile radius).

Skills

  • Cat6
  • Punchdown
  • Cable installation

Tools: screwdriver (regular and Phillips), drywall saw, torpedo level, tape measure, snips (with belt sheath), pliers (needle nose and channel locks), hammer, cable stripper, flashlight, and gloves.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

Schedule

This is a fully onsite position in Temple, TX. The position is anticipated to close on Aug 7, 2026. $50/day per diem for travel.
