Temp Team Members - 1st & 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

Rework/Recondition:

• Correct any product held by QA due to not meeting FDA or client requirements.
• Remove pouches from boxes to verify and adjust weight to standard.
• Ensure pouches are flattened correctly.
• Verify pouch labels for accuracy.
• Inspect pouches for foreign material; report any findings immediately to production line lead or supervisor.
• Remove product from pouches and place in V-Mags for rework.
• Move between assigned work areas as directed.
• Maintain a clean work area, sweep, remove trash, and dispose of inedible product as needed.
• Follow additional instructions from Production Line Lead or Production Supervisor.
• Adhere to plant GMPs and safety guidelines.

Packoff:

• Remove chilled product from the line and place the correct number of pouches into cases.
• Ensure cases receive proper date code, label, and are taped correctly.
• Verify finished product is within acceptable temperature range.
• Construct, stamp, tape, and label boxes as needed.
• Inspect pouches and cases for damage, pin holes, bad seals, or incorrect/missing coding.
• Maintain batch segregation by completing one batch before moving to the next.
• Maintain a clean work area, sweep, remove trash, and dispose of inedible product as needed.
• Follow additional instructions from Pack-off Lead, Production Line Lead, or Production Supervisor.
• Adhere to plant GMPs and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to stoop, bend, and climb steps.
• Able to lift 20-40 lbs.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment that may be cold or hot, depending on the season, during an 8-hour shift.
• Basic literacy skills in English to read product code information.
• Allergen training required.

Additional Notes

• May be required to assist in pack-off, prep, or sanitation as needed.
• May assist pack-off lead with associated paperwork, stack boxes on pallets, operate date coder, and tape machine.
