How You Will Make An Impact (Job Summary)
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As an Operations Warehouse Admin, you will assist the inventory control team in documenting / updating / creating SOPs by functional areas within the warehouse. You will be involved in updating inventory part records in regard to obsolescence.
What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)
- Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Provide support to Supply Chain and Warehouse teams in the execution of technical activities associated with process improvements, such as:
- SOP documentation / updating
- Part usage analysis
- Warehouse design and layout
- Kitting of parts for manufacturing and assembly
- Learn and perform testing to enhance system usage and support execution of material movement throughout two warehouse locations
- Absorb and lead other projects as assigned
- Required Experience And Education
- Knowledge of MRP systems, production control and inventory control.
- Microsoft Office suite experience.
- Associate’s degree required.
- Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Familiarity with fundamental warehouse procedures
- Leverage lean manufacturing experience, including 5S.
