About the role
The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations including Operations, Clinical, HR functions, Training, and Regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Leading change and adjustments of a facility under current operating environment of state and federal requirements
- Operating a nursing home in a COVID environment with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance
- Building relationships internally and externally
Requirements
- Nursing Home License active in OK
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3 - 8 years experience as a nursing home administrator
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day
- Proper body mechanics required—bending, stooping, turning, stretching, reaching above the shoulders
- Cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position
- Observe, listen, and communicate effectively
- Function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, support agencies, and outside agencies
- Relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility
