Temp Mechanical Assembler

About the role

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Responsibilities

• Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
• Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices.
• Follows established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.
• Reads, understands, and follows manufacturing process instructions (MPIs) in English.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years experience in a high volume Assembly manufacturing environment.
• Able to do mechanical assembly.

Qualifications

• Available for overtime and weekend work as required.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Able to assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
• Able to properly use manufacturing equipment.

Benefits

• Salary range: $38,584 - $45,760 annually.
