TEMP Conversion: MHE1 Case Pick - BHN

About the role

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment. Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Inspect assigned equipment daily and operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Move filled/empty cages around staging or between buffers and staging areas.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
• Move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report quality variances.
• Maintain tight inventory control and security through appropriate records and reports.
• Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and safe loading/unloading.
• Coordinate with other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, including a "clean as you go" process.
• Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety; report unsafe conditions to the leadership team.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices; report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must successfully complete post-hire assessments.
• Must obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA, company-specific).
• Must wear personal protective equipment (e.g., protective footwear, eyewear, gloves) in accordance with safety policies.

Pay

$18.50 per hour + $2.00 shift differential.

Schedule

Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM.
