Temp Co-op - Internship in Human Spaceflight

About the role

The internship will provide hands-on research experience in human spaceflight with a focus on human health and performance during space missions. The primary goals of the internship are to expand the trainee’s experience conducting space-related scientific research and to enhance their understanding of the mental and behavioral health challenges associated with human spaceflight.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to/assist with literature reviews
• Assist with the development and implementation of research protocols
• Collect and analyze data
• Prepare scientific reports, presentations, and manuscripts

Requirements

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., biomedical engineering, psychology, neuroscience)
• Strong interest in human spaceflight and related fields
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis software

Qualifications

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $7.25.
