About the role

We are looking for a Music & Lyrics Expert with native or near-native proficiency in Telugu to evaluate AI-generated music and lyrics. This is a remote contract position with a duration of up to 6 months and a commitment of 20+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across various genres.
• Rate music against detailed quality standards in Telugu and English.
• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities.
• Rate lyrics based on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality.
• Evaluate lyrics for naturalness, including word choice, slang, and regional expressions.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist.
• Knowledge of the Telugu music scene.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.
• Credited or published songwriting work.
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Telugu genres, sub-genres, and artists.

Pay

$11–$19/hour

Schedule

20+ hours per week, up to 6 months duration.
